Rules Summary
Sled Rules:
All sleds must go through Tech inspection. As soon as you unload your sled(s), bring them to the Staging Area or find a Tech inspector to check you and tell you which classes you are eligable to enter. Please be honest with them.
Classes this year are Stock (6 classes), Improved Stock (5), Open Modification (5) and 120 stock and 120 modified.
Stock: Sleds must have original OEM for the model engine, hood, skis, frame, gas tank, cowl, carburetion, air box, suspension, and clutches supplied by the manufacturer for that model. (See Rule Book for details of exceptions or variances).
Improved Stock: Sleds must begin as a qualified stock snowmobile. Any alterations allowed in Stock are allowed in Improved Stock. The sled must have original OEM for the model engine, frame, suspension, fuel tank and seat. (See Rule Book for details of exceptions or variances).
Open Modified: Competition is open to any snowmobile either production or one of a kind experimental (which could include rear engine type snowmobiles). Be reasonable in your class designation of choice and abide by Tech inspector class recommendation. The engine must have been manufactured for snowmobile use (this does not include outboard, motorcycle, aircraft or automotive designs). Super charging and turbo charging is allowed. Ground Rules:
***660 ft Race track. *** All 660 ft Iced***
***Extremely loud pipes not allowed (99db @ 20")
***Red-Light (false start) = Loss.
***Two (2) Losses and you are out -Double Elimination
Payout:
Races will be 100% payouts on all classes up to a max of $100 for 1st, $60 for second and $40 for third.
We expect many classes to produce the $100 payout for 1st place.
